Deep Winter Nourishment Workshop

In Chinese Medicine and philosophy, Winter is the most Yin or introspective time of the year, associated with the Water Element and the Kidney and Bladder organs. With shorter cold days, nature calls us to spend more time indoors, to rest and nourish our body and mind. In the energetic cycle of the year, Winter represents the end of the cycle - the time to nourish ourselves at a very deep level to fill up our reserves for the year ahead.


This workshop will offer an experiential and informative exploration of the qualities of Yin and the Water Element. We’ll use movement, meditation and self Shiatsu acupressure to nourish and stimulate the energy of the Kidney and Bladder. And finish with a Yin and restorative yoga practice to deeply rest and balance the nervous system.

Suitable for all levels.
